Happy Fall Y’all!

It’s Fall y’all! So here’s come crunchy colors to inspire you!

A cold front is moving through today. That means “sweater weather” for about a week and then we’ll likely be back in shorts! That’s just how it is in the Deep South.

Our fall isn’t all that pretty. We kinda go from green to brown to leaves on the ground. So I’ll share with you some photos I took in North Carolina where they get a little color when the season changes.

The yellow and red leaves against that brilliant blue sky is striking! I’m amazed at how many leaves are still on the trees compared to how many are on the ground! You’d think the trees would be totally bare.

Look at that giant yellow leaf in the photos below! The color is so bright and the shape so unique. I wish I knew what kind of tree it came from. If anyone knows please comment below!

The veins on these leaves remind me of aerial views of rivers flowing through the earth. The colors of each leaf would make beautiful color pallets.

Lastly, I love the determination of this one green leaf pushing through to life! When everything or everyone seems to be falling down around you, you can hold on to God, the great Artist and Creator of life, and push through the darkness to be a light of hope in this broken and fallen world.

Enjoy every season!
